Bobbe Free - NZ's Grandmother of Reiki My Journey with Reiki
	Bobbe became a Reiki Level 1 student in 1980 while living in America with her husband and five children. A year later , in 1981 she was attuned to Level 2. Following this, in 1984 Bobbe became a Reiki Master Teacher while under the tutelage of Phyllis Furumoto, Hawayo Takata's granddaughter. All Bobbe's teachers were trained by Hawayo Takata.  In response to an invitation, Bobbe first taught Reiki classes in New Zealand in 1985, while on holiday here. In 1987 she and her husband returned to live once again in the country of their birth and she became the first residential Reiki Master in New Zealand.
For many years Bobbe taught classes, established the annual Reiki Master Gathering, organised the first Reiki stand at the Healthy Lifestyle Exhibition and took on the role of President of Reiki NZ in 2004. In so many ways she was the cornerstone of Reiki in this country earning her the title of "The Grandmother of Reiki" , bestowed on her with much love and respect from all who know her.  Retiring from public practice in 2002, Bobbe remains connected to the Reiki community, her many students and fellow Master Teachers, generously sharing her knowledge, experience and wisdom.
Lynley Frame - Reiki Master Teacher Connecting with children and parents
	Based in Auckland's Mt Wellington, Lynley has been practicing Reiki since 1994. She offers Reiki to parents and children at the Child Cancer Foundation, and teaches Reiki to parents of children with cancer (also at the CCF).  Lynley's extensive background in nursing and counselling is an excellent complement to the Reiki services she offers.
Lynley is keen to offer medical professionals a Reiki session so they can experience it for themselves. "More medical teams are suggesting Reiki to their patients as a complementary therapy and I'd like them to have the opportunity to try it so they can see at first-hand how beneficial Reiki can be" she says.
Dr. Graeme Kidd - M.BChB Integral Medicine
	Graeme graduated Otago University with MBChB in 1973.After several years O.E, Graeme commenced General Practice in Howick in 1978, including Obstetrics for 20 years.  He has maintained a deep interest in metaphysical medicine for over 30 years and completed first and second Degree Reiki with American Reiki Master Carrlyn Haring in 1991.
Currently Graeme is in General Practice in Howick with sessions at South Auckland Hospice and Eastern Bays Hospice.  Graeme is married to Felicity (a Reiki Master) and has two adult children, Cecille and Guy.
